Drumming to reduce your heartbeat

If your heart is racing, then there is a simple drumming technique that you can use to lower your heart rate.

Using a drum over your heart/chest , hardback book, hard surface (table) or by tapping on your chest, match the speed of your heart, then over a period of time (5 - 10 minutes) gradually reduce the speed that you are tapping out, and your heart will follow the rhythm you are using.

This is called Entrainment.
